A downloadable game for Windows

Lewd Clockout: Shiftbreak Protocol
is an adult story driven game about the galaxy's worst employee trying to achieve the impossible: quitting their job.

Unfortunately, resigning is illegal when your employer owns your life. So instead of filing paperwork, you steal a spaceship and head for the only place in the galaxy where you can legally be unemployed.

18+ only. Contains nudity and sexual content. Early Alpha. Content is still growing.

  • Full wave based gameplay loop
  • Shop and leveling systems
  • Clothing destruction for enemies and your copilot
  • 16 weapons (10 in demo!) and 16 upgrades
  • First campaign level (prologue lvl no story yet)
  • Early version of Survival Mode
  • Original soundtrack

For now there is only one main character, as our artist is still learning digital art after previously working mostly with traditional art.

BUT THERE WILL BE MORE!!!

I don't want Lewd Clockout to be a game you only play to unlock the next NSFW scene.

The goal is to make something that is genuinely fun to play even without the adult content, while also building a story and cast of characters that are funny, interesting and memorable.

I want the characters to have their own personalities, relationships and moments that hopefully stick with you after you stop playing.

The foundations of the story are already written, but right now the main focus is making the gameplay as enjoyable as possible.

More story content, characters, enemies, maps, music and NSFW content will gradually be added as development continues.

Weapons will also get deeper progression. Alongside normal upgrades like damage or fire rate, the plan is for every weapon to eventually have an upgrade that significantly changes how it works. (sooo 32 weapons in total??)

A gallery is also planned, where unlocked characters and artwork will be available from the main menu.

Will there be more than 16 weapons (10 in demo!)? Maybe ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is our first game and I'd rather keep the scope under control than promise 500 features and finish none of them.

There is no AI generated content in the game.

The artwork, music, programming and writing are all made by real people through blood, sweat and questionable sleep schedules.

Speaking of real people - Aria's voice comes from a public voice bank shared by MagicalMystic. Credit and thanks where it's due!

Now that the main gameplay loop is working, I really want to hear what people think.

Balance, weapons, progression, pacing, bugs, things you love, things you hate, weird ideas you had while playing. Tell me.

Every piece of feedback helps shape what the game becomes.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for reporting this!

I've found that other Godot developers have experienced similar antivirus false positives with their exported games, so it might be related to the export itself.

I'll investigate the issue and try to find a solution. I'll also try to submit the game for review to Microsoft and Google so hopefully these warnings won't happen again in the future.

Sorry for the trouble, and thanks for letting me know! ❤

Edit:

Ran a few tests, the exe and dll are clean, a handful of programs are flagging some heuristic ("lazy") irregularities specifically in the .pck, which is Godot's file that contains the scripts, among other things. Windows Defender actually states clearly that it got blocked because the app might run scripts from the console, and it just so happens one script opens a link to my socials (so, the browser). That might be getting picked up as a violation and the antivirus panics.

I'm not 100% sure this is the main cause, but I'll test it over the weekend, and if it improves things I'll push a fix. Right now I've got limited access to my PC, so there's not much I can do about it at the moment.

Thanks again for pointing this out. You can safely run the game after accepting the file in Windows Defender, or just wait for the fix (if it actually helps). The bug only happens on some machines, none of my testers hit it, so it was a tricky one to catch.
